Workers at the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant have begun erecting a structure to cover the first Static Detonation Chamber.

Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant Immobilized Cells Bioreactors are packed with media polyurethane foam cubes where microbes will reside. The microbes treat hydrolysate, the wastewater byproduct that results from the chemical agent neutralization process.

Pueblo Plant Readies 3rd Module to Process Hydrolysate

By John Cummins | PCAPP News, Technology | Comments are Closed | 4 December, 2019 | 0

The Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant is preparing to increase its processing capacity by activating a third Immobilized Cell Bioreactor module.

A Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant Automated Guided Vehicle is used to transport munitions from the Enhanced Reconfiguration Building to the Agent Processing Building. The weight and turning radius of the AGVs has caused wearing of the epoxy coating in high traffic areas of the ERB, AGV Corridor and Munitions Body Storage Building.

Improvements Made to High Traffic Areas in Pueblo Plant
