Just five years after arriving at PCAPP on more than 30 semi-trailer trucks, three Static Detonation Chamber units are being transported again, for reuse at other Department of Defense organizations.

The SDC units augmented the main plant by safely destroying more than 50,000 of the 780,078 chemical munitions formerly stored at the U.S. Army Pueblo Chemical Depot.

Disassembly and transport of the three SDC units took less than three months as part of PCAPP closure activities.
