On July 7, 2023, the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant completed chemical weapons destruction activities at the Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond, KY. BGCAPP destroyed 523 U.S. tons of chemical agent from 2019 to 2023.
