In 2022, the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant, or BGCAPP, team surpassed the halfway mark in the destruction of the original chemical agent in Kentucky, destroyed the last VX nerve agent weapons in the nation and started the fifth and final munitions destruction campaign at the Blue Grass Army Depot. Changeover, construction and testing activities also continued on the Static Detonation Chamber units.
