In December, the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) continued operations under the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention pandemic recommendations. On Dec. 11, the second and final main plant destruction campaign began for the 105mm projectiles. Since the end of the 155mm projectile campaign, technicians worked to retrofit processing equipment to configure specialized components to destroy the smaller 105mm projectiles. Dynasafe employees began Site Acceptance Testing for the Static Detonation Chamber units. Ordnance technicians used ACWA Test Equipment to perform dry runs to demonstrate the process. As of Dec. 18, the total amount of agent destroyed is 1,756.2 U.S. tons.
