Safety is the number one priority for the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP), which will destroy more than 2,600 tons of mustard agent contained in munitions stored at the U.S. Army Pueblo Chemical Depot. In November 2014, PCAPP was re-awarded Star Status under the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s Voluntary Protection Program. The site was awarded Star Status in 2009 and recertified in 2011, as well. The award represents one of the highest recognitions for workplace safety in the U.S.
